About This Attraction
1 May 1993, The Highgate Hotel in East London was attacked by unknown assailants killing 5 people. APLA, the armed with of the PAC (Pan Africanist Congress) were blamed for the terror attack but nothing has ever been proven. The victim’s families have repeatedly requested the NPA to reopen an investigation into the matter, but so far this has not been done.
This hotel, once the thriving entertainment hub of Cambridge did not survive Covid-19 and failed to re-open after the lockdown in 2020.
